Ron Jacobsohn Visits the First Women Only Coffee Shop

Amir and Nitza HaLevi are both studied architecture in Milan and upon their return to Israel they decided to change their lives and become orthodox but they still had to design bug from their secular life so they rented a space and turned it into the first ever establishment in the world where only orthodox women are being served as customers. Although you can’t take away the fact that the HaLevi couple’s entrepreneurial spirit to create a new niche for a coffee shop has worked out for them, it is alarming to witness that in a modern society like Israel an establishment like that is and no one has anything to say about Religious coercion.

Ron Jacososohn Talks to the Producer of the Documentary, The New Antisemitism

Israel is commemorating National Holocaust Day and instead of remembering the six millions who perished, Keshet, one of the countries leading broadcasters has decided to dedicate a whole evening to an impressive document they have co-produced with a Canadian production company simply entitled “The New Anti-Semitism”.
Ron Jacobsohn got to talk exclusively to Jacob Eilon, one of the people behind the film and host of this world premiere special event.
Eilon told us later how shocked and disturbed he was to find out how alive and kicking anti-Semitism is in the world and the fact that no one really does anything to stop it. Hopefully, as many people as possible will see this documentary and realize it is time to act now before it will be too late again.
